Company History
Kreitzer's Automotive was founded in 1980. Jim was laid off at Mack Trucks where he worked as a diesel mechanic. Jim's ambition and knowledge of auto and truck engines plus employment status gave way to the young Jim opening his own business. His original business started out on Carlisle Pike with his Phillips 66 Station, then became Citgo. In 1990, Jim purchased the land and salvage business on Wertz Lane, Enola and transferred his inspection license and expanded the garage. Today it remains a thriving business, thanks to his loyal customers.
Kreitzer's Automotive Service Center takes great pride in everything that we service. Whether it is an oil change on your car, installing new brakes, a major engine repair or a state inspection on a tractor trailer, our technicians have the knowledge to do the job correctly the first time.
We also take care of the environment. We have been awarded GREEN STAR SHOP status by the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of Pennsylvania, which means that we go the extra mile to make sure everything we use is environmentally friendly and disposed of properly.
We are continually attending training schools to keep current with maintenance and repair procedures.
We believe in preventive maintenance to keep your vehicle running smoothly and free from unexpected breakdowns, all the while with an eye on your budget. Our technicians are ASE (automotive service excellence) certified and we use the latest in computer equipment to check for technical service bulletins(TSB) and manufactures updates for your vehicle. We are members of AASP (alliance of automotive service providers) and the iATN (international automotive technicians network).
A note from Jim...
I would like to personally thank my loyal customers. I strive to be the best and have the best business in the area. I also would like to acknowledge the dedication of my technicians and support staff. I am sure that you have had the pleasure of talking to June Kreitzer, my mother.
